Hello Everyone! It has been a very long time, but I tried to make sure that I carefully documented the moments that I hadn't kept you up to date on. I last talked to you about performing the role of Achilla in Giulio Cesare at Rice University. Well... I finally have the performance pictures! Additionally, I went to Italy and attended the Michelangelo Language Institute in Florence, came home to participate in the Musical Merit Foundation Scholarship Auditions again, and then went to Aspen Music Festival for the rest of the summer, where I performed the roles of le fauteuil and un arbre in Maurice Ravel's opera L'enfant et les sortilege under the baton of Maestro Robert Spano. In the youtube link below, I have gathered highlights from these moments and put them together in a video/picture collage. Click the link below to view it! https://youtu.be/iLhnFRrMcsI If you're interested in watching my performance in the Musical Merit Foundation Scholarship Auditions, copy and paste the link below. (I start singing at the 4:10:04 mark). https://youtu.be/mW2orj2Av7U?t=4h10m4s Lastly, I have also included a dropbox link of the performance of L'enfant et les sortilege for your listening pleasure: https://goo.gl/DyZAaH Thanks again for all of your love and support over the years. I hope to get better at keeping you up to date on a more regular basis. Best wishes, Nicholas P.S. Please enjoy the above picture of my teacher (Dr. Stephen King) and me in my last lesson at Aspen Music Festival.
